Arlington Assistant Director of Water Treatment Bill Gase has over 30 years’ water industry experience in both the public and private sectors. He has held leadership positions in the Texas Association of Clean Water Agencies and the Texas Water Utilities Association, and he currently serves on the North Central Texas Council of Governments Water Resources Council. A chemistry master’s graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he earned an ‘A’ Water Operator License and a Wastewater Collections III Operator License from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. As Arlington Water Utilities communications coordinator, Traci Peterson manages a range of customer service, community education, and conservation initiatives. Her small team collaborates across the department to provide engaging content and behind-the-scenes interactions for Arlington Water Utilities University, a free, five-week citizens academy detailing the city's water system and treatment facilities. Traci holds a Master of Public Administration from UTA and is a former daily newspaper reporter.
