Reasons for membership
Why join the Arlington Conservation Council
A membership in Arlington Conservation Council is a sign that you endorse our mission to protect Arlington’s natural environment through education, community service, and advocacy for a sustainable future.
Our members are as varied as the nature we cherish and seek to preserve, but always work hand-in-hand with the Arlington Parks, Recreation & Culture Department in the city’s parks, preserves, and natural areas.
Your tax-deductible dues are kept low to encourage young people and retirees to help us in our volunteer work. After the IT and USPS bills are paid, your dues and donations contribute toward supporting student scholarships and research projects at UTA and occasional grants-in-aid for specific projects at any one of the sites we work in.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, ACC is free of political bias and exists only to enhance the protection of our city’s natural resources through scientific principles and public education. Join us, won’t you?
